In June I plan to go off grid for at least a month to see what life will be like. Going off grid is not that unusual but it tends to be in isolated areas where there is plenty of space for solar, possibly wind and access to wood for renewable heat. This experiment will be in central London in a block of flats with no access to the building's roof.
